So I've been discussing otherkin on tumblr lately and the more I talk with people the more it reinforces my belief that they're either mentally ill, attention whoring or just plain old wagon hopping on whatever new trend they see.

There is no such thing as otherkin as you can't be anything else but a human being in your human body. As for the idiots that compare their nonissues being otherkin with the issues that the LGBT community faces daily is just plain old insulting and stupid. They whine about how they're being oppressed, their rights violated, etc., and yet these twats aren't being denied any human right by being an otherkin.

- You'll never be denied work because you're an otherkin.
- You'll never be denied an education because you're an otherkin.
- You'll never be denied the right to marry because you're an otherkin.
- You'll never be denied the right to have children or adopt because you're an otherkin.
- You'll never be denied healthcare because you're an otherkin.
- You'll never be denied any human right because you're an otherkin.

So how the fucking fuck are your issues on par with that of the LGBT community? You'll never know what oppression is being an otherkin you fucking twatkin.

Claiming to be an otherkin has about as much legitimacy as claiming to be a Raelian or a Scientologist. They're all equally fictional, full of shit and/or delusional.

Most of you who really believe your own otherkin bullshit should seek professional help/treatment. Don't encourage this mental illness, it only makes it more difficult for those who really do believe their delusion to seek help.

And no, before you whine, bitch and moan, I'm not saying all otherkin are mentally ill, most are just attention whores and others are just role playing.

You're not an animal, you're not that fictional character, you're you, a human, and that's pretty much all you'll ever be. You're not an animal born in a human body, you don't have a tail, or wings, you never did.
